Online Blackjack

Blackjack is considered to be one of the most popular table games at a casino, very exciting and very easy to learn. The Aim of Online Blackjack

The aim of Blackjack is to attain a score of 21 (or as close to this number as possible). You are ultimately competing against the dealer who has to abide by strict rules set by the casino house. Your goal is to beat the dealer which can be achieved in two ways.

If you get closer to 21 than the dealer without busting (that is going over 21) – you win, or if the dealer goes over 21 and you don't – you win. When choosing which Blackjack table to play at always check the minimum and maximum bets allowed.

Card Values for Online Blackjack

Picture cards i.e. Jack, Queen and King: Value of 10
Number cards from 2-10: Face value of exactly what the card shows
Ace : Value of 1 or 11

A typical Blackjack would be 2 cards – one an Ace and the other with a value of 10.

How to Play Online Blackjack

Review Table Rules
Check minimum and maximum bets, blackjack odds (i.e. 3 to 2 in most casinos), and dealer stand rule (e.g. stand on 17, cannot take more cards).
Place Your Bet
Place your bet in the position on the table provided.
Deal Cards
Press the "Deal" button. Dealer deals you two cards face up, and himself one face up and one face down.
Choose Action
Stand: No more cards. Hit: Additional card. Split: For same value pair (i.e. pair of Kings), split into two hands with additional bet equal to first. Odds change per casino rules.
Dealer Plays
Dealer must stand on 17 or more. If dealer busts (over 21), you win if not busted.
Resolve Hand
"10 value" cards most common; dealer likely blackjack if upcard 10/Ace. Dealer blackjack beats non-blackjack. Both blackjack: push (bet back). Higher hand wins; vice versa.
